Scope Lubricants was established in 2002 by its parent company, United Grease & Lubricants. The vision was aspired by the management team as exports for 3rd party blending was flourishing, we saw a need for creating our own brand of lubricants.
Scope Lubricants expanded the plant and warehouse facilities to reach a blending capacity of 45,000 MT. The company exports started to expand to the Middle Eastern Countries in the beginning where a high demand flourished the product on the shelves.
During 2004-2007, customers and markets necessitated creating new product lines alongside Automotive oils, including Gear Oils, Transmission Fluids, Brake Fluids, Industrial lubricants, and Marine lubricants. These new product lines have helped "Scope Lubricants" establish a brand name in a number of countries, as distributors began contracting industrial companies and automotive workshops to use "Scope Lubricants" products for a variety of purposes. The company started gaining a lot of traction in the mining industry.
Between 2008 and 2015, the number of new market entries for "Scope lubricants" increased dramatically; in just seven years, exports expanded to 15 additional countries, covering nearly the entire African continent, as well as entries into Europe, Central Asia, and South Asia. The new market entrants have put pressure on the R&D teams to develop products of high quality and durability that can withstand a variety of environments and weather conditions. In order to meet these expectations, synthetic formulations were created.
Today, "Scope Lubricants" is a well-known brand in many areas of the world, selling to more than 30 countries and aspiring to be one of the world's leading lubricant companies.
